Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Glaze PDF mobile application ("App") operated by Sergey Bespalov ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Glaze PDF provides document conversion, scanning, splitting, and merging tools. Some operations are performed locally on-device, while others may use cloud-based processing on our own servers.

3. User License & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain full ownership of all documents you upload or create using the App.
• Processed Content: All converted, merged, or split files belong entirely to you.
• App License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload illegal, offensive, violent, or pornographic content.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if you violate these usage rules.

5. Cloud Processing

By default, all operations are performed locally on your device. Some conversions require server-side processing — in this case, the App will ask for your explicit confirmation before sending any file to our server.

When you confirm cloud conversion:

• Own Infrastructure: Your files are processed exclusively on our own servers hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU. No third-party services receive your documents.
• Immediate Deletion: Your original files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after processing. In case of a failure, files are deleted within 5 minutes.
• No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that conversion results will always be pixel-perfect. Quality may vary depending on the input file.

6. Subscriptions and Refunds (EU Right of Withdrawal)

If you purchase a subscription or credits within the App:

• Right of Withdrawal: As a consumer in the EU, you generally have a right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days. However, by using the App to process documents immediately after purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been performed.
• Refunds: Refunds are generally handled by Apple according to their standard policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including Spanish Consumer Law), Sergey Bespalov shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App, including loss of data.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: Document conversion, scanning, splitting, merging, and other processing algorithms may produce inaccurate or imperfect results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all output before using it. We accept no liability for any consequences arising from unverified results.

Storage Notice: You acknowledge that we automatically delete all uploaded files immediately after processing (or within 5 minutes in case of failure). We are not liable for any data lost because you failed to download or save results to your device.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain.

• Consumer Disputes: If you are a consumer in the EU, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
• Jurisdiction: For business users, any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Gijón, Asturias. For consumers, the jurisdiction will be determined by applicable consumer protection laws.
