To provide our document conversion and scanning services, we collect and process the following data:

• User Content (Documents): Files that you upload for conversion, merging, splitting, or other processing (PDF, DOCX, PNG, JPG, etc.).
• Usage Data: Anonymous information about how you use the App (e.g., device model, OS version, crash logs) to help us improve stability.
• Technical Data: IP address and device identifiers required for secure communication with our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your documents solely to perform the service you requested — converting, splitting, merging, or otherwise processing your files.

• On-Device Processing: By default, all operations (scanning, splitting, merging, etc.) are performed locally on your device. Your files never leave your phone unless you explicitly choose cloud conversion.
• Cloud Processing: Some conversions require server-side processing. In this case, the App will ask for your explicit confirmation before sending the file. Only after you approve is the file securely transmitted to our own server hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union.
• No Third-Party Sharing: Your documents are never sent to any third-party services. Cloud processing happens exclusively on our own infrastructure.
• No Training: We do not use your documents to train any AI or machine learning models.

4. Data Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Our infrastructure provider is:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): Our backend servers are hosted in secure data centers within the European Union. Your documents are processed exclusively on these servers and are never forwarded to any other service.

5. Data Retention

We implement a strict data minimization policy:

• Immediate Deletion: When you use cloud conversion, your original files are permanently deleted from our servers immediately after processing is complete.
• Failure Safeguard: In the event of a processing error or server failure, any uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted within 5 minutes.
• No History: We do not keep any copies or history of your documents.

6. International Transfers

All document processing takes place on our servers hosted by Hetzner in the European Union (Germany/Finland). Your data does not leave the EU.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: You can ask what data we hold about you.
• Right to Erasure: You can request the deletion of your data (though our immediate auto-deletion policy usually handles this automatically).
• Right to Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if you believe your rights have been violated.

8. Accuracy Disclaimer

Document conversion, scanning, splitting, merging, and other processing algorithms may produce inaccurate or imperfect results. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all output. We accept no liability for any consequences arising from the use of unverified results.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
